This 'Red/Grey Backs' collection consisting of players from the First and Second Divisions was the first set of footballers to be issued in Britain by Topps Bazooka Ltd., who took over A&BC. These and the 75-76 Topps collection are my two all time favourite sets of football cards, I think due to the fact that they remind me of my first experiences in the school playground at the age of about 7 or 8, when I spent most of the time swapping doubles, trebles, etc. with my friends and chewing gum until my jaws were sore.

The front of them are very psychedelic with the outside border being split into two different colours, although   strangely enough, this did not indicate what team each player represented as it was just a random combination. The back of the cards had a quiz on each of them and an answer printed upside down.

One section of cards (Nos. 64 to 68) includes Double Centurions (Player who had scored at least 200 career league goals) whilst another section (190 to 201) had Great Britain Select Eleven.

The set consisted of one series of cards 1 to 220.
