The first range of Subbuteo accessories appeared in the late 1940's with Set A (The Assembly Edition) and ran through to Set ZZ (The Score Recorder and Name Sheets). Unfortunately I have no plans to post photos of any of these on this site as they are not part of my collection.
I made the decision to start my accessories collection from C100 (The 'Continental' Range) and this is still continuing with the recent Parodi and Hasbro additions of 2005.
The 'Continental' Range was introduced to support the new 00 scale editions of the game that arrived around the early 1960's, and Subbuteo continued with this right through to number C206. Then, strangely, in 1984 Waddington decided to replace the "C" prefix with the number "61". Although many of the accessories were produced with either this "C" or "61" prefix, I have generally collected one or the other, depending on just what was available to me at the time of purchase, although in some photos you will sometimes see that I possess both of them.

The Waddingtons and Hasbro Range
I don't know the reason for Waddingtons changing the prefix of the range from "C" to "61", but they didn't seem to change the rest of the numbering system. The final item to have a continental number was "C206", and the first one to be available only in the new "61" range was "61207".
