The photos below show my original and extremely rare Large Shop Display from around 1971 or 1972. The display has 1 player from every team reference 1 to 81 and 15 players from named International teams. You would go into your local shop that dealt in subbuteo, take a look at this team display, choose a player/kit, then the shop keeper would note the reference number under that player and bring you the team. This and the Munich Edition are two of my most treasured subbuteo items.
All the pieces are from the original display and the only flaws are that the number discs for 5 and 42 are missing and player ref.31 is bent back slightly and player ref.47 is missing an arm. I've had numerous opportunities to fix these flaws but I think it would take away from it's originality, so they have been left untouched.
