WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION
Hello and welcome to my website.
When I first thought of setting up a web site I was going to base it purely on one of my hobbies, Subbuteo Table Football, but after some deliberation and many more purchases I decided to include my two other hobbies of collecting football cards and sticker albums.
My Football Cards and Sticker Albums start from around 1967. The basic reason for using this as my starting point is that it was the year I was born. I just wanted to keep some sort of a record as to how football has progressed through the years in parallel with my own life, if you get my drift. Hopefully all you football fans out there can understand my thinking!
I feel that the cards and stickers act as a great reference guide, because my main period of interest, 1965 -1981 of the Classic Heavyweight Subbuteo Figure, was based on original team strips.
I will endeavour to post pictures of all the individual cards from my collections and also each of the pages from my sticker albums, although this will be quite an undertaking. Please be patient as this will be built up over the next year or so. Remember "Rome wasn't built in a day".
There are a number of web sites out there already devoted to Subbuteo, Football Cards and Stickers, but I am only posting details and photographs of my own personal collection, so please excuse any missing information.
I do not claim to be an expert on any of these areas, so please excuse any wrong information on the site, whilst any feedback would also be of great help and interest to me.
I first published this site in mid 2005, but I have carried out a number of changes recently and am now putting it back up on to the web from 1st March 2008.
Any future additions to this site will be noted on the 'WHAT'S NEW' link at the top of every page, to keep everything tidy.
